WATSU® is a holistic wellness method & body therapy that nourishes the soul and allows new basic trust to grow.
WATSU® helps you to overcome your fear of water and to learn to deal with other fears as well.
WATSU® is a combination of the English word for water, namely Water, and Japanese Shiatsu. Watsu is therefore referred to as WaterShiatsu. The technique is one of the alternative medical therapies. Watsu is a relaxation technique.
WATSU® uses gentle stretches and meridian treatments (Shiatsu) to strengthen organs reflexively and harmonize the energy balance. Movement restrictions can be resolved by means of targeted mobilizations and massages.
WATSU® creates a space in which closeness and security are provided. This often creates a connection to the prenatal phase of life, which increases awareness of basic trust. This experience helps to let go of restrictive patterns and creates the opportunity to shape a new life situation.
WATSU® is suitable for both young and old people, the disabled, pregnant women, people suffering from depression or emotional stress. What each person receives through WATSU® is different, because everyone is different.
WATSU® and water dancing also help to overcome the fear of water, regardless of its origin.
Water stores emotions
Dr. Masaru Emoto was born in Yokohama in 1943. In 1992, he graduated from the Open International University with a doctorate in alternative medicine. His approach is not strictly scientific, but rather comprehensive and opens up new ways of perceiving water.
During his work, he discovered that water is closely linked to the consciousness of an individual or a group and that it is also extremely sensitive to other vibrations and information, such as music or words.
Dr. Masaru Emoto's method is based on the principle of freezing various 0.5 ml water samples. Small pieces of ice are then removed from the samples and used as so-called "seeds" from which a water crystal is later grown.
Water with a destroyed internal structure (due to mechanical, chemical or vibrational influences) does not form crystals or forms crystals with an irregular shape.
Our body consists of 60-80% water, so the water in the body also absorbs emotions. It is important that you are mindful of your thought choices and how you talk to yourself, because your body stores this information. Negative thoughts can also affect our health.
If you want to travel to Bali this year, come and join us for a new experience in the water. WATSU® is difficult to describe. It is best to feel it for yourself. Where you can find me and my colleague:
