Special Focus Workshop
WOMEN IN TRANSITION - YOGA FOR MENOPAUSE

Sunday, March 28th, 1-3pm, with Kath Mitchell
$25 per person ($20 if registered by March 20)

In our society, conventional medical wisdom often treats menopause as a disease. The Eastern traditions view menopause as a time of greater wisdom and deeper insight--a natural life transition to be celebrated and embraced; Yoga can be a wonderful system to help manage the symptoms of menopause.  
We will begin class with an Opening Circle to check in and encourage humor and insight and then move into a Pranayama practice to cool our bodies and relieve stress. Asana practice will help tone muscles, organs and bones that may lose strength as estrogen wanes and we will end with a Restorative practice that will reset our energy and outlook.
